Alloy cast steel rolls are made from premium molten steel, employing a frequency conversion furnace and utilizing advanced casting and heat treatment technologies. Possessing elevated strength, exceptional resistance to thermal crack, toughness, and notable wear resistance, these rolls are well-suited for application in roughing and intermediate stands of section steel mills. Additionally, they are ideal for roughing stands of HSM and serving as back up rolls of hot strip mills. The metallographic structure of the roller body manifests as either pearlite or tempered sorbite.
